This project has a heavier electronic style. Seeking a departure from the usual dark dramatic mood, Signal 12 was conceived to express more electronic atmospheres, but follows the same pattern of melodic integrity as Oneiroid Psychosis.
The name comes from an episode of COPS in Fort Worth Texas. In that particular precinct a "signal 12" is police code for a corpse on the scene.
A Signal 12 trackfrom the "Aphonia" release is included on the new Road Rash game called Road Rash: Jailbreak from Electrinic Arts for Sony Playstation.
- The debut Signal 12 release

Between 1994 & 1997 we put together 12 songs that didn't quite fit under the Oneiroid Psychosis style. We decided to consider it a side project and called it Signal 12. It was shelved for a year or so before COP International showed interest in the project and eventually signed us. It has been completely recorded, produced, and mastered at Psychosis Laboratories (Leif and Lars' studio) .
All cover art was designed and created by Leif.

"Aphonia" means "without a voice,". The album was originally meant to be all instrumental. But we decided to add vocals on it after all the music was recorded. Several songs are sung by Lars and others by Cat Hall.
